1.41

上堂云。照與照緣。混融不二。心與心法。㳷合無差。所以道。如珠發光。光還自照。還會麼。百草頭上閑和尚。買盡風流不著錢。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "Illumination and conditions of illumination blend completely without duality; mind and phenomena of mind accord seamlessly without discrepancy. Therefore it is said: 'Like a jewel emitting light, the light returns to illuminate itself.' Do you understand? The idle monk on the tips of the hundred grasses buys up all the elegance without spending a coin."
