上堂云。雲斂長空風日和。太平樵牧共高歌。衲僧飯飽無他事。密密機前弄玉梭。所以道。琉璃殿上。玉女拋梭。明月堂前。石人撫掌。作麼生。行履得恁麼相應去。暗裡抽橫骨。明中坐舌頭參。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "Clouds gather in the vast sky, the wind and sun are mild; in the great peace, woodcutters and herdsmen sing together loudly. The patch-robed monk, with a full belly, has nothing else to do; intimately, before the loom of function, he works the jade shuttle. Therefore it is said: 'Upon the lapis lazuli palace, the jade maiden casts the shuttle; before the bright-moon hall, the stone figure claps its hands.' How can one practice so as to accord like this? In the dark draw out the crosswise bone; in the light sit on the tongue. Investigate!"
