1.60

上堂云。佛病法病。佛藥法藥。本色衲僧。俱不染著。遇飯開口。要行移脚。自是現成。誰能造作。可謂言滿天下無口過。行滿天下無怨惡。還會麼。莫把是非來辨我。浮生穿鑿不相干。

Ascending the hall, [the Master] said, "Buddha-illness and Dharma-illness, Buddha-medicine and Dharma-medicine—genuine patch-robed monks are unstained by either. Encountering food, they open their mouths; wishing to walk, they move their feet. Naturally ready-made, who can fabricate it? It can be called: 'Words fill the world without verbal error; actions fill the world without grievance or malice.' Do you understand? Do not bring right and wrong to distinguish me; the contrivances of floating life have nothing to do with it."
