切瑳琢磨。變態肴訛。葛陂化龍之杖。陶家居蟄之梭。
同條生兮有數。同條死兮無多。末後句只這是。
風舟載月浮秋水。

Cutting, filing, chiselling, polishing, / Changes of state, deceptive and strange: / The staff that turned into a dragon at Gepobei; / The shuttle that harbored dormancy at Tao's house. / Born on the same branch—there are some; / Dying on the same branch—not many. / The final phrase: just this is it— / A wind-borne boat carrying the moon, floating on autumn waters.
