滄海瀝乾。太虛充滿。衲僧鼻孔長。古佛舌頭短。
珠絲度九曲。玉機纔一轉。直下相逢誰識渠。
始信斯人不合伴。

The vast sea drains completely dry;
Great space is filled.
The patch-robed monk's nostrils are long;
The ancient buddhas' tongues are short.
The thread with pearls passes through the nine bends;
The jade loom has only just turned once.
Meeting face-to-face right here, who recognizes him?
Only now do I believe this person does not join with companions.
