狗子佛性有。狗子佛性無。直鉤元求負命魚。
逐氣尋香雲水客。嘈嘈雜雜作分疎。平展演大鋪舒。
莫怪儂家不慎初。指點瑕疵還奪璧。秦王不識藺相如。

A dog's Buddha-nature is; / a dog's Buddha-nature is not; / a straight hook originally seeks the fish that yields its life. / Pursuing the scent and tracking the fragrance, the cloud-and-water travellers / clamorously offer explanations. / Spread wide, greatly laid out; / do not blame this one for not guarding the beginning. / Pointing out the flaw, he took back the jade disk; / the King of Qin did not recognize Lin Xiangru.
