舉風穴垂語云。若立一塵家國興盛。不立一塵家國喪亡。雪竇拈拄杖云。還有同生同死底衲僧麼。頌曰。
Fengxue gave this teaching: "If a single particle of dust is established, the house and nation flourish. If not a single particle of dust is established, the house and nation perish." Xuedou held up his staff and said, "Is there any patch-robed monk who shares in the same life and same death?" The ode says:
