3.29

舉雲門云。佛法大殺有祇是舌頭短。後自云長也。師云。雲門大師。雖然自起自倒。要且車不橫推。理不曲斷。

[The Master] cited Yunmen saying: "The Buddha Dharma is very much present; it is only that the tongue is short." Later he said to himself: "It has grown long." The Master said, "Although Great Master Yunmen arose by himself and fell by himself, in the end the cart is not pushed sideways, and principle is not crookedly determined."
