上堂。父母所生眼悉見三千界。拈却案山誰我礙。直饒全象無全牛。未免依前還礙塞。衲僧家真慶快。物我虛空。混成一塊。更於何處著根塵。祇箇堂堂觀自在。

Ascending the hall: The eyes born of parents completely see the three-thousandfold world; / Once the facing mountain is cleared away, who obstructs me? / Even if there is the whole ox without any partial ox, / Inevitably, just as before, it is still obstructed. / A patch-robed monk's house is truly joyful and light: / Objects, self, and empty space blend into a single lump. / Where else would one fix sense-faculties and dusts? / Just this distinct Avalokiteśvara.
