送化主上堂。山谷之響。水監之像。白雲之心。太虛之量。應機也乍卷乍舒。據令也全收全放。三千世界爾夤緣。百億分身君伎倆。風行空船駕浪。施受通同無住相。一言相送知不知。千僧在儞鉢盂上。

Ascending the hall to see off an alms-collector: "The echo of the mountain valley, the image in the water mirror, the mind of the white clouds, the capacity of the great void. Responding to opportunities, suddenly rolling up, suddenly rolling out; holding the command, completely gathering, completely releasing. The three-thousandfold world is your karmic affinity; a hundred billion transformation bodies are your skillful craft. The wind moves through empty space, the boat rides the waves; giving and receiving merge into one, without the characteristic of abiding. One word sends you off—do you know it or not? A thousand monks rest upon your alms bowl."
