上堂。一言觸諱。法自不容。一字入公。牛拽不出。兄弟汝胸中。不得著箇元字脚。若有餘未盡。千生萬劫。帶累汝在。藏六直如龜慎縮。骨頭奈有卦文何。有恁麼病痛底禪和子。更須是透一遍去參。

Ascending the hall: "A single word violating a taboo, the law naturally does not tolerate; a single character entered into the official register, an ox cannot drag it out. Brothers, in your breast you must not harbor the character yuan. If any remainder is left unexhausted, for thousands of births and myriads of kalpas it will burden you. 'Hiding the six, upright as a turtle carefully retracting; what can be done about the divination lines upon its shell?' Monks with such an ailment must still penetrate through once more. Practice!"
