黃瘦厭厭。風規冷嚴。萬機閒暇。一味清恬。心宗提簡默。
手段掃廉纖。歲寒不變兮虛懷若竹。
道妙難傳兮有口如鉗。

Sallow and thin, frail and quiet, / Demeanor cold and austere. / Amidst myriad activities, at total leisure; / A single flavor of pure calmness. / Upholding brevity and silence in the mind school, / Sweeping away pettiness in one's methods. / Unchanging through the winter cold, an empty heart like bamboo; / The marvel of the Way difficult to transmit, a mouth held shut like pincers.
