面瘦頰凸。眉棱眼深。默亡所住。妙在而今。鱗潛寒水。
鶴夢月林。應聲應色分身也。拍手家家觀世音。

The face is thin, the cheekbones project; / The brow ridges are high, the eyes deep. / In silence, there is no abiding; / The marvelous lies in the right-now. / Scales submerge in the cold water; / A crane dreams in the moonlit forest. / Responding to sounds and colors, multiplying the body: / Clapping hands, every household is Avalokiteśvara.
