伎倆俱無。身心淡如。霽月自分照。間雲從卷舒。
匹上不足。匹下有餘。少室謾傳衣鉢。曹溪不識文書。

Skill and tricks are entirely absent; / Body and mind are bland and plain. / The cleared moon of itself reflects; / The leisurely clouds are left to roll and unroll. / To match the superior, not enough; / To match the inferior, more than plenty. / Shaoshi vainly transmitted the robe and bowl; / Caoxi did not know written words.
