笑含口角。喜在眉棱。一默照源底。三乘空葛藤。
清白濯秋之月。光明破夜之燈。柱杖有時橫膝上。
箇般面嘴得人憎。動而靜。虛而應。專氣致柔。
湛神如凝。一住天童。十分沒興。

A smile playing on the corners of his mouth; / joy resting on the ridge of his brows. / A single silence illuminates the bottom of the source; / the three vehicles empty of tangled vines. / Clear and pure, the moon washed in autumn; / bright and shining, the lamp piercing the night. / Sometimes the staff lies across his knees; / such a face and mouth incur people's dislike. / Moving yet still, / empty yet responding. / Focusing the breath to achieve softness, / the settled spirit is like congealed ice. / Living once at Tiantong, / entirely without zest.
