眼低眉棱。骨寒肩聳。道情間不覉。禪膽老能勇。
流水清而月隨。青山瘦而雲擁。諸緣廓淨兮拈却頭皮。
一句妙圜兮好看鼻孔。

Eyes lowered, brow-ridges prominent; / bones cold, shoulders hunched. / Sentiments of the Way are idle and unfettered; / the Chan guts are old yet bold. / Flowing water is clear and the moon follows; / blue mountains are lean and clouds crowd around. / When manifold conditions are thoroughly cleared, strip off the scalp; / the single phrase is wondrously round—look well at the nostrils!
