像兮非真。真兮非像。妙明四大之前。自出諸緣之上。
不把一字之心傳。有吞百川之器量。
隨方普應而不虧。的的夜光而在掌。

The image is not the reality; / the reality is not the image. / Marvelously luminous prior to the four great elements; / naturally stepping out above all conditions. / Not upholding a single character of mind transmission; / possessing the capacity to swallow a hundred rivers. / Universally responding according to direction without deficit; / distinctly, the night-shining pearl rests in the palm.
