赤肉一團。疎通數竅。惟色惟聲。乃聽乃眺。不借應而即真。
不外虛而常照。長時默坐亡世機。
萬里青天絕飛鳥。謂爾畫工。那得其妙。

A lump of red flesh, / dredged through with several apertures. / Only forms and sounds, / heard and viewed. / Not borrowing responses, it is immediately real; / not externalizing emptiness, it constantly illuminates. / Constantly sitting in silence, worldly machinations forgotten; / across ten thousand leagues of blue sky, flying birds cease. / Tell that painter: / how could he capture its marvel?
