神定氣平。心空智明。其機靜而自應。其用虛而不盈。
寒潭月落。霽夜河橫。紹了亡祖位。借功成佛名。
建立因緣皆爾爾。剎塵世界與眾生。

Spirit settled and breath calm; mind empty and wisdom clear. / Its pivot is quiet and responds of itself; its function is empty and does not overflow. / Moon sinks in the cold pool; the River spans the clear night sky. / Carrying on the forgotten patriarch's position, borrowing function to accomplish the Buddha's name. / Establishing causes and conditions are all just like this: / worlds numerous as dust-motes and sentient beings.
