孤節老全。叢林歲寒。機用千變時事百難。玉經火而愈潤。
蓮秀水而常乾。牛頭之懶口挂壁。
麈尾之辯舌翻瀾。觸事出礙兮虛空揮劍。
眾影不粘兮明珠走盤。

Solitary integrity preserved in old age; the year's cold in the monastic grove. / Dynamic functioning undergoes a thousand changes; contemporary affairs present a hundred difficulties. / Jade, having passed through fire, becomes all the more lustrous; / lotus, rising above the water, remains ever dry. / The laziness of Niutou: mouth hanging on the wall; / the eloquence of the fly-whisk: tongue overturning waves. / Encountering things and transcending obstruction, brandishing a sword in empty space; / myriad reflections do not stick, a bright pearl rolls upon a platter.
