節稜稜而老松之孤。心空空兮脩竹之癯。雪霜之氣。
丘壑之軀。雲水之去就。叢林之典模。
放開來底。相識也無。

Integrity sharp and towering, solitary as an old pine; / mind utterly empty, lean as slender bamboo. / The spirit of snow and frost; / the form of hills and ravines. / The departures and arrivals of clouds and water; / the model and standard for the monastic grove. / Let loose to come forth— / do you recognize him or not?
