妙出名象。非心非相。混融古今。是相是心。
髮白曉霜厚。眼寒秋水深。寄語山形柱杖子。
大家相伴做叢林。

Wondrously stepping out of names and forms,
It is neither mind nor form.
Blending ancient and modern,
It is both form and mind.
Hair white, dawn frost is thick;
Eyes cold, autumn waters are deep.
A word sent to the mountain-shaped staff:
Let us keep each other company to make a monastic grove.
