去就清貧。擔何苦辛。兀默三椽老。平生五合陳。
出家意謂了身。住院還相累人。野水連天半夜月。
叢林和氣十方春。

Departing and staying, pure and poor;
What hardship is borne?
Motionless and silent beneath three rafters, growing old;
All his life, five pints of old grain.
Leaving household life was meant to resolve the body;
Residing in a temple turns out to burden others.
Wild waters stretch to the sky under the midnight moon;
A harmonious air fills the monastic grove with ten directions of spring.
