瘦骨岩岩。殘毳毿毿。坐寒雲巘。心空月潭。虛應亡機而若谷。
深禪有口而如鉗。槃珠勿遺其色。
囊錐不露其尖。皇道大平沒棱角。自然雨五而風三。

Bony frame craggy and steep; / ragged robes wispy and thin. / Sitting on the peak of cold clouds; / the mind empty as a moonlit pool. / Emptily responding, without mechanism, like a valley; / deep Chan has a mouth yet is clamped like pincers. / The pearl in the tray does not lose its luster; / the awl in the bag does not reveal its tip. / When the imperial way is at great peace, it has no sharp corners; / naturally there are rains in fives and winds in tens.
