9.39

真乘無門兮佛佛道同。面壁有句兮祖祖心空。
靜居方外智入環中。借功明寂默。借伴入樊籠。
十方周匝。三世混融。剎剎塵塵齊說法。
見聞互換自相通。

The true vehicle is gate-less—Buddhas and Buddhas share the same Way. / Facing the wall there is a phrase—Patriarchs and Patriarchs have empty minds. / Dwelling quietly beyond the bounds, wisdom enters the circle's centre. / Borrowing function to illuminate silent stillness; / Borrowing companions to enter the worldly cage. / Pervading the ten directions, / Blending the three periods of time. / Land by land, dust mote by dust mote, all preach the Dharma together; / Seeing and hearing interchange, naturally communicating with each other.
