年齒垂垂。鬚髮絲絲。月寒無影樹。春在未萌枝。
得失折肱塞人馬。輸贏爛柯樵子棊。示現威儀而不起滅盡之定。
不由心念而自然圓明之知。

Age creeps onward, / beard and hair thread by thread. / The moon is cold in the shadowless tree; / spring resides in the unsprouted branch. / Gain and loss: breaking an arm, the frontier dweller's horse. / Winning and losing: the rotted axe-handle, the woodcutter's chess. / Manifesting dignified deportment without arising from the samādhi of cessation; / not relying on mental thoughts, yet knowledge is naturally round and bright.
