煙蒼蒼兮白鳥飛。水茫茫兮金鱗嬉。空杳杳兮智不知。
覺冥冥兮性所宜。包萬像而括二儀。
徹三際而周四維。影象纍纍。品類差差。發揮元自我點化更由誰。
方之則矩。圓之則規。
不須特地。且麼過時。兀兀騰騰。憨憨痴痴。跛跛挈挈而萎萎嬴嬴。

Mist is hazy, and white birds fly; / water is boundless, and golden scales disport. / Space is distant and vast, and wisdom does not know it; / awakening is dark and profound, suited to its nature. / It encompasses the myriad forms and embraces heaven and earth; / it penetrates the three periods of time and spans the four quarters. / Images are manifold, / kinds and classes vary. / Expression originally comes from oneself; to whom else could transformation belong? / Square it, and it fits the carpenter's square; / round it, and it matches the compass. / No need for anything special: / just pass the time like this. / Motionless, surging along; / simple-minded, foolish; / limping, hobbling, withered, and frail.
