9.61

雲橫其肩。雪覆其顛。空空養慧。兀兀忘緣。月射珊瑚兮。
海發光而不夜。松生琥珀兮。根擁膏而有年。
性惟平等。道法自然。鈐鎚之在握。
杖拂之當拳。豹霧披梓樹之野。龍雷吼桃華之川。
雲水叢林秋。與老成之氣韻。溪山草木春曾醞釀於風煙。
兒孫之力學。佛祖之家傳。
針線之關度。龕燈之焰聯。向道龍門無宿客。
而今龜鶴盡成仙。

Clouds stretch across his shoulders; / Snow covers his crown. / Empty and vacuous, nurturing wisdom; / Motionless, forgetting conditions. / The moon shines on the coral— / The ocean radiates light, banishing night. / The pine produces amber— / Its roots hold resin through many years. / The nature is solely equal; / The Way models itself on nature. / The pincers and hammer are held in his grip; / The staff and whisk are applied with his fist. / The leopard's mist spreads across the wilderness of catalpa trees; / The dragon's thunder roars through the river of peach blossoms. / The autumn of the monastic groves of clouds and waters / Blends with the demeanor of seasoned maturity; / The spring of grass and trees in streams and mountains / Was once brewed amid the wind and mist. / The diligent study of descendants; / The family transmission of Buddhas and Patriarchs. / The passing through of needle and thread; / The linked flames of the niche lamp. / It was said that Longmen had no overnight guests, / Yet now turtles and cranes have all become immortals.
