9.71

癡坐頹然。山空壑乾。離微出入。偏正往還。千年琥珀之松兮。
鶴巢夢冷。半夜珊瑚之月兮。
鯨𩥇波寒。全功及盡。借路何難。轉步而回叢林也津津和氣。
放口而說河漢也浩浩翻瀾。
道逢作者誰敢相謾。

Sitting foolishly, collapsed and spent; / the mountain is empty, the gorge dry. / Leaving and entering between subtle and detached; / going and returning between bias and upright. / A pine of thousand-year-old amber— / the crane's nest cold in its dream; / coral in the midnight moon— / the whale stirs chilly waves. / When full merit is exhausted, / how hard can it be to borrow a road? / Turning the step to return, in the monastic grove is an overflowing gentle warmth; / opening the mouth to speak, across the Milky Way vast billows surge. / Meeting someone on the Way who can act, who would dare deceive them?
