松石歲寒。雲月高閑。野雪髮鬚上。秋波眉睫間。
用持智柄。靜入道環。覺心了了。幻事斑斑。
草木精神兮。風流自得。叢林氣像兮。春信誰慳。

Pines and rocks through the winter cold; / clouds and the moon high and leisurely. / Wild snow upon the hair and beard; / autumn ripples between brows and lashes. / Functioning, he wields the handle of wisdom; / resting in stillness, he enters the ring of the Way. / The awakening mind is luminous and clear; / illusory matters are varied and distinct. / The vitality of grass and trees / naturally attains its charm; / the atmosphere of the monastic grove: / who would begrudge the news of spring?
