Ascending the hall, [the Master] said: "The one nature is clearly perfect, the radiance of the original ground shines forth. The six senses function interchangeably, the hands and eyes of the whole body adapt as appropriate. Thus, one can perform ear-Buddha-work at the place of the eyes, and nose-Buddha-work at the place of the ears. Therefore it is said: 'If the stone figure's mechanism is like yours, it also knows how to sing the rustic song of Ba; if you are like the stone figure, you must harmonize with the White Snow song.' Being able to be like this, in all dust particles one accomplishes all-knowledge. Have you not seen it said in the teaching: 'If the sphere of form is pure, if the perfection of wisdom is pure, and if all-knowledge is pure—they are non-dual, without division, without difference, and without interruption.' Do you all fully understand this?" After a long pause, he said: "The father and son of the cloudy mountain can leave nothing outside; the friendship of the water and moon naturally possesses affinity."
