6.13

Silently dwelling on one's own, as such and free from conditions, openly bright without dust, one penetrates and sheds directly. Originally arriving at this place is not something newly possessed today; from the ancient home before the vast kalpas, it has been distinctly unclouded, spiritually shining alone. Although it is like this, you cannot fail to practice. When practicing in this way, directly ensure that not a single hair arises, not a single dust-mote obscures. In withered cold, take a great rest; be vast, penetrating, clear, and distinct. If resting is not thorough, and you wish to reach this realm to escape birth and death, there is no such possibility. Directly break through, completely without dusts of thought, purely without conditioned deliberations. Step back and let go: thoroughly complete, you will then be able to radiate light and respond to the world, meeting every thing and fitting perfectly in every place. Therefore it is said: 'The dharmas are not concealed; they are always clearly revealed throughout past and present.'
