A person of the Way's conduct and demeanor is like drifting clouds without intention, like the full moon responding universally, not detained by anything. Distinctly amid the myriad phenomena, preeminently standing out a head above the rest. Meeting and touching according to conditions, unstained and unmixed. Sharing the same function with the other, sharing the same substance with me. Words cannot transmit it; thought cannot reach it. Transcendent and beyond duality, subtly turning and abandoning effort. Wonderfully attained outside the estimations of mind, consciousness, and emotion. Functioning along the way, taking responsibility inside the house. Resolving birth and death, stepping beyond causes and conditions, true vision is spiritually vivid and originally without any dwelling. Therefore it is said: 'The mind pervading the ten directions is not in any place.'
