The scenic spots of the cloudy foothills I had not reached before;
Keen on this pure excursion, I forgot the craggy heights.
Who lacks a lean staff to offer a little support?
Together with a recluse, we share this delightful mood.
The soft green of the ravine's ferry meanders on its own;
The ancient verdure of the bank trees remains darkly shaded.
West of the stream we beg for fire to boil tea;
From the house amidst the bamboos comes the sound of the meal-time chime.
