2.15

上堂。天童鐵臭老拳頭。打殺江湖水牯牛。夜深忽然生箇卵。天明推出大日頭。且道。如何晒㫰諸人烝濕處。免教行步滑如油。

Ascending the hall: / "Tiantong's foul old iron fist / Knocks dead the water buffalo of the rivers and lakes. / In the deep of night, it suddenly lays an egg; / At dawn, it rolls out the great sun! / But tell me, how is it? / Air out everyone's damp, steamed spots, / To keep their steps from slipping like oil!"
