2.14

謝新舊兩班上堂。開無間地獄。現閻羅大王。聚夜叉一部。列牛頭兩行。與其進者。劍樹上猛火進用。與其退者。刀山裡寒氷退藏。且道。理會甚事𭔪耐。飯飽弄筯判斷。屎急尿床。其或未然。花柳春風入戲場。

Ascending the hall to thank the incoming and outgoing monastic officers of the two ranks: "Opening the Avīci hell, King Yama appears; gathering a band of yakṣas, ox-headed demons line up in two rows. For those who advance: amid raging fires atop the forest of sword-trees they advance into action. For those who retreat: amid freezing ice within the mountain of blades they retreat into hiding. And tell me, what affair do they attend to with such forbearance? Full of food, fiddling with chopsticks to make judgments; pressed by feces, wetting the bed. If not yet so: spring breezes of flowers and willows enter the playhouse."
