2.26

上堂。眼見黃葉落。耳聞孤雁鳴。且道。是什麼物得與麼靈。咦。溪上秋光分外清。

Ascending the hall: "The eye sees yellow leaves fall;
the ear hears a solitary wild goose cry.
Tell me, what thing can be so nimble?
Bah! Above the stream, autumn light is exceptionally clear."
