【九七】舉。金剛經云。若為人輕賤（放一線道。又且何妨）是人先世罪業（驢駝馬載）應墮惡道（陷墮了也）以今世人輕賤故（酬本及末。只得忍受）先世罪業（向什麼處摸索。種穀不生豆苗）則為消滅（雪上加霜又一重。如湯消氷）。

[Case 97] Case: The Diamond Sūtra says: "If [this sūtra] is despised and disparaged by others, (Opening a line of path; yet what harm is there?) the sinful karma of these persons from previous lives (Carried by donkeys, hauled by horses.) would have caused them to fall into the evil destinies. (Already sunken and fallen.) Because they are despised and disparaged by people in the present life, (Paying back the principal and the interest; one can only endure it.) the sinful karma from their previous lives (Where will you search for it? Planting grain does not grow bean sprouts.) will be eliminated." (Adding frost on top of snow once again; like hot water melting ice.)
