垂示云。是非交結處。聖亦不能知。逆順縱橫時。佛亦不能辨。為絕世超倫之士。顯逸群大士之能。向氷凌上行。劍刃上走。直下如麒麟頭角。似火裏蓮花。宛見超方。始知同道。誰是好手者。試舉看。

The pointer says: Where right and wrong intertwine, even a sage cannot know; when going with and against in every direction, even a Buddha cannot distinguish. Acting as a person who surpasses the world and transcends the ordinary, one manifests the ability of a great being who outstrips the multitude. Walking on thin ice, treading on the edge of a sword, directly appearing like the horn of a qilin or a lotus flower within fire. Only upon clearly witnessing one who transcends the ordinary sphere does one recognize a fellow traveler on the Path. Who is an adept? Try to bring it up and see.
