6.45

垂示云。諸佛眾生本來無異。山河自己寧有等差。為什麼却渾成兩邊去也。若能撥轉話頭。坐斷要津。放過即不可。若不放過。盡大地不消一揑。且作麼生是撥轉話頭處。試舉看。

The pointer says: The Buddhas and sentient beings are fundamentally not different; between mountains and rivers and oneself, how could there be distinctions? Why then do they become entirely merged into two sides? If you can turn around the huatou and sit upon and cut off the vital ford, it must not be let pass. If you do not let it pass, the entire great earth does not take a single pinch. And what is the place where the huatou is turned around? Try to cite it.
