9.30

垂示云。明眼漢沒窠臼。有時孤峯頂上草漫漫。有時鬧市裏頭赤灑灑。忽若忿怒那吒。現三頭六臂。忽若日面月面。放普攝慈光。於一塵現一切身。為隨類人。和泥合水。忽若撥著向上竅。佛眼也覻不著。設使千聖出頭來。也須倒退三千里。還有同得同證者麼。試舉看。

The pointer says: A person with clear eyes has no nest or burrow. At times, high on a solitary peak, the weeds run rampant; at times, amid the bustling marketplace, he is stark naked and free. All at once, like wrathful Nata, he manifests three heads and six arms; all at once, like the Sun-Face and Moon-Face, he radiates compassionate light embracing all. In a single dust mote he manifests all bodies, mixing with the mud and water for the sake of beings of every kind. All at once, if he strikes the transcendent aperture, even the eye of a Buddha cannot spy him out; even if the thousand sages were to step forth, they would have to retreat three thousand miles. Is there anyone of identical attainment and identical realization? Consider this case to see.
