覿面來時作者知（昧者不覺）可中石火電光遲（已過新羅）
輸機謀主有深意（埋兵掉鬪）欺敵兵家無遠思（深入虜庭）
發必中（慣得其便）更謾誰（并贜捉獲）腦後見腮兮。人難觸犯（曾經蛇咬）
眉底著眼兮。渠得便宜（佯打不知）

"When meeting face-to-face, the adept knows; (The obtuse are unaware.) / Even sparks from flint or a flash of lightning are too slow. (Already passed Silla.) / The mastermind who loses the initiative has deep design; (Laying troops in ambush to challenge the fight.) / The strategist who underestimates the enemy lacks foresight. (Penetrating deep into barbarian courts.) / When it shoots, it is sure to hit; (Habitually seizing the advantage.) / Whom else could he deceive? (Caught along with the stolen goods.) / Jaws seen from behind the head: difficult for people to provoke; (Having once been bitten by a snake.) / Eyes set beneath the eyebrows: he gains the advantage."
