覿面來時作者知。可中石火電光遲。輪機謀主有深意。
欺敵兵家無遠思。發必中更謾誰。
腦後見腮兮人難觸犯。眉底著眼兮渠得便宜。

When it comes face to face, an adept knows;
In that moment, flint sparks and lightning flashes are slow.
Scheming moves, the strategist has profound intentions;
Underestimating the enemy, the general lacks farsighted thought.
Shooting, he surely hits—whom else could he deceive?
Jaws seen from behind the skull: hard for anyone to offend;
Eyes placed beneath the brows: he gains the advantage.
