示眾云。卞和三獻。未免遭刑。夜光投人。鮮不按劍。卒客無卒主。宜假不宜真。差珍異寶用不著。死猫兒頭拈出。看。

Instruction to the assembly: Bian He presenting [the jade] three times could not avoid undergoing punishment; when the luminescent jewel is tossed at people, few fail to clasp their swords. A sudden guest has no sudden host; one should use the fake, not the real. Rare treasures and extraordinary gems cannot be used—bring forth the dead cat's head and look!
