淡中有味（誰教爾添鹽著醋）妙超情謂（別日爾商量）綿綿若存兮象先（已落第二）
兀兀如愚兮道貴（無人著價）玉雕文以喪淳（和尚手高）
珠在淵而自媚（少賣弄）十分爽氣兮清磨暑秋（體露金風）
一片閑雲兮遠分天水（好事多魔）

Within the bland there is flavor— / (Who told you to add salt and vinegar?)
Wondrously transcending sentiment and assertion. / (We'll discuss it on another day.)
Continuous, as if remaining, prior to forms; / (Already fallen into the secondary.)
Steadfast as though foolish, the Way is noble. / (No one sets a price on it.)
Jade carved with patterns loses its genuineness; / (The Venerable's hand is skilled.)
The pearl in the abyss is naturally charming. / (A bit too showy.)
Ample crisp coolness freshly polishes summer into autumn; / (The body exposed in the golden wind.)
A single wisp of idle cloud parts sky and water far apart. / (Good things encounter many demons.)
