示眾云。不挂寸絲底人。正是裸形外道。不嚼粒米底漢。斷歸焦面鬼王。直饒聖處受生。未免竿頭險墮。還有掩羞處麼。

Instruction to the assembly: A person without a thread on is precisely a naked non-Buddhist. A fellow who does not chew a single grain of rice definitely ends up as a scorched-faced ghost king. Even if one takes birth in the realm of the sages, one cannot avoid falling perilously from the hundred-foot pole. Is there still a place to hide one's shame?
