百戰功成老太平（安家樂業）優柔誰肯苦爭衡（饒人不是癡）
玉鞭金馬閑終日（雖有如無）明月清風富一生（受用不盡）

"A hundred battles won, an old man in peaceful times (at home and happy with his lot); / gentle and leisurely, who would be willing to struggle fiercely? (yielding to others is not foolishness). / With a jade whip and golden horse, idle all day long (though having them, it is as if without); / the bright moon and pure wind, wealthy his whole life (enjoyment without end)."
