舉。米胡令僧問仰山。今時人還假悟否（還曾迷麼）山云。悟即不無。爭奈落第二頭何（如何免得）僧迴舉似米胡（是第幾）胡深肯之（肯即不無爭免第二）。

Case: Mi Hu sent a monk to ask Yangshan, "Do people nowadays still rely on awakening?" (have they ever been deluded?). Yangshan said, "Awakening is not absent, but how can one help falling into the secondary?" (how can it be avoided?). The monk returned and related this to Mi Hu (what number is this?). Hu deeply concurred with it (concurring is not absent, but how to avoid the secondary?)."
