舉。玄沙到蒲田縣。百戲迎之。次日問小塘長老。昨日許多喧鬧。向甚麼處去也（又閙也）小塘提起袈裟角（果然手忙脚亂）沙云。𩕐挑沒交涉（謝證據）。

Case: Xuansha went to Putian County, where a hundred entertainments welcomed him. The next day, he asked Elder Xiaotang, "Where did all that clamour of yesterday go?" (Noisy again!) Xiaotang lifted up a corner of his kāṣāya. (Sure enough, hands and feet in a flurry.) Xuansha said, "Deeply dangling, no relation!" (Thanks for the testimony.)
