舉。雲門示眾云。聞聲悟道（雙丸塞耳）見色明心（兩葉遮睛）觀世音菩薩將錢來買餬餅。放下手却是饅頭（又被風吹別調中）。

Case: Yunmen instructed the assembly, saying, "Hearing sounds, one awakens to the Way; (Two pellets plug the ears.) seeing forms, one clarifies the mind. (Two leaves cover the eyes.) Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva brings money to buy a sesame cake; putting down the hand, it turns out to be a steamed bun." (Again blown by the wind into a different tune.)
